The sponsor journey
Step 1
MyScience discusses priority regions, school readiness, timing and the kind of partnership your organisation wants to create.
Step 2
The participating schools, facilitator and delivery schedule are confirmed before the program begins.
Step 3
Receive agreed recognition and updates as teachers, MySTics, STEM mentors and students move through the program.
Step 4
Attend the MyScience Fair when possible and receive a summary of the Hub’s participation and outcomes.
Evidence behind the model
MyScience has been examined through published studies involving students, teachers and mentors. A 2016 Australian Catholic University randomised controlled trial reported positive effects on science inquiry outcomes and promising patterns for teacher practice.
