Lead a MyScience Hub from first briefing to final fair
Coordinate the people, learning and delivery sequence that make a Hub work. Facilitators deliver teacher professional learning, brief STEM mentors and MySTics, support classroom visits and bring the community together at the MyScience Fair. MyScience provides the training, program framework and materials.

- What is this?
- A paid, part-time delivery role leading the people, schedule and program sequence for one or more MyScience Hubs.
- Who is it for?
- Experienced science educators, including current, former or retired teachers and science-education specialists who can work confidently across primary and secondary school settings.
- What will I do?
- Deliver teacher professional learning, brief STEM mentors and MySTics, coordinate with both schools, conduct primary class brainstorm sessions, support classroom visits and lead the MyScience Fair.
- Time commitment
- Approximately 26 hours per Hub delivery across the school year, plus local travel and the availability needed for agreed school dates.
- What is required?
- Relevant science-education experience, strong facilitation and coordination skills, and the child-safety and school-access clearances required for the delivery location.
- What support is provided?
- MyScience training, program materials, templates, delivery guidance and support from the MyScience team throughout the Hub sequence.
- Why does the role matter?
- The facilitator gives teachers, schools, mentors and MySTics one consistent point of coordination from the first professional learning session to the final presentation.

The role follows the full program sequence, connecting preparation, school delivery and the final community celebration.
Term 1
Prepare teachers and mentors
Deliver teacher professional learning and brief STEM mentors and MySTics for their different roles in the classroom.
Term 2
Coordinate and support visits
Keep the schools and participants aligned, support the class brainstorms and help every mentored visit run to the program sequence.
Term 3 · Science Week
Lead the MyScience Fair
Bring students, teachers, mentors and the wider school community together for the final presentation of investigations.

Facilitators hold the Hub together, but they do not replace the teachers, schools or MyScience team.
